Aaack!
I had been smelling mildew for a while. We couldn't find the leak, but knew it was affecting the insides of our cupboards. It got worse and worse, and started making me sick. Today is the day that someone came to take our cupboards out, dig into the wall and find the leaking pipe. It was not good, not good at all. Lots of mold and rot and bad news. I hope to have a kitchen sink back by the end of the week, water in our house by tonight. Here's a picture of where we stand:
Needless to say, I won't be cooking dinner tonight. On top of the other news, this all just feels like a bit too much for me today.

Aack, indeed! What a mess! Does insurance help with this?
I am so so sorry- I will be thinking and praying for you and Jeff. I KNOW this is totally frustrating and just upsetting...Just think, next week at this time this particular problem will be resolved...that's how I can get through tough times by imagining the near future won't be so terrible! :)

What a bummer! I know that this is like the straw and the camel.... I'll be praying for you guys especially for job and a sink! ;0)
Qh dear! Not a pretty picture! I'm wondering if insurance can help.We will pray for both issues. Love you grandma seelye
It is too much. I am so sorry Ariana. Wish I could give you a hug. Instead, I"ll just agree wholeheartedly how much this sucks and pray for you tonight.
Oh, man! Your whole kitchen! I hope it gets functional again soon, and doesn't cost too much. I will be praying that God's peace is with you, because it looks like more than one should bear all at once! Also praying that Jeff gets an even more perfect job lined up before his contract ends. I hope you can get a nice hot bath when the water comes back on. Carol's advice is good. I will try to remember that.
